From 108 ft agarbatti to necklace with 5,000 diamonds: All exquisite elements for Ayodhya Ram Mandir

The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India, has been a long-standing aspiration of millions of people. With its rich cultural and religious significance, the temple is designed to be a symbol of devotion and architectural excellence. In the process of building this iconic structure, various exquisite elements have been incorporated, reflecting the grandeur and spirituality of the temple. In this article, we will explore five notable elements of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, including the 108-ft Agarbatti, the Necklace with 5000 Diamonds, and more.

The 108-ft Agarbatti

One of the most striking elements of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is the 108-ft tall Agarbatti (incense stick) that will be a part of the temple complex. Made of steel, brass, and copper, the Agarbatti is a magnificent representation of India's rich spiritual heritage. It aims to symbolize the prayers and devotion of millions of devotees ascending towards the heavens, creating an atmosphere of divine grace and tranquility.

The Kalash

The Kalash, a sacred pot-like structure, is an integral part of Indian temple architecture. In the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the Kalash holds significant cultural and religious importance. Made of pure gold, it represents purity, prosperity, and spiritual abundance. The Kalash is placed on top of the main shikhara (spire), signifying the pinnacle of spiritual achievement.

The Garbhagriha

The Garbhagriha, also known as the sanctum sanctorum, is the innermost chamber of the temple where the primary deity is enshrined. In the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the Garbhagriha is believed to be the abode of Lord Ram. The construction of this sacred chamber involves intricate stone carving and craftsmanship, reflecting the devotion and dedication of the artisans involved in the project. The Garbhagriha will serve as the ultimate spiritual destination for devotees.

620 kg Bell

A substantial 620 kg bell sourced from Tamil Nadu is poised to occupy its rightful place in the temple, resonating with the triumphant chant of "Jai Sriram" once the construction reaches its culmination.

With the auspicious consecration ceremony for the new Ram Mandir in Ayodhya drawing near on January 22, 2024, Ahmedabad's Akhil Bharatiya Dabgar Samaj is crafting a distinctive Nagara. Weighing 450 kg and measuring 56 inches wide, this Nagara is destined for placement in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, specifically designed for performing aarti at the Pravesh Dwar. The Nagara will feature a gold and silver dhol, adorned with intricate carvings. The three-month-long construction involved the dedicated efforts of artisans from the Dabgar community across the state, adding a unique and cultural touch to the upcoming ceremony.

The leader of Dabgar Samaj has revealed that the Nagara, destined for the entrance of the Ayodhya temple, is scheduled for delivery before December 25th, with a construction cost of Rs. 8 lakh. Crafted with an estimated lifespan of 1,000 years, the Nagara will feature a chariot adorned with representations of Rama, Sita Mata, and Lakshmaji. Over 25 artisans, including 10 from Uttar Pradesh, worked tirelessly in shifts for three months to create this masterpiece.

Strategically placed brass spheres aim to prevent damage. Four Nagaras, funded by donations collected across the state, will be installed in the temple. Simultaneously, in Ahmedabad, seven flagpoles for the temple are under construction. Meanwhile, in Vadodara city, a 108-foot-long and 3.5-foot-wide incense stick (agarbatti) is meticulously crafted for use during the temple's inauguration ceremony.

118 Doors

Hyderabad shines brightly with Anuradha Timbers' exquisite wooden doors, stealing the spotlight. Crafted with intricate designs, some doors feature opulent gold plating, serving as a canvas for sculptured peacocks, elephants, and other intricate details. These masterpieces add a touch of artistic brilliance, transforming the entrance of spaces into captivating showcases of cultural craftsmanship.

The Necklace with 5000 Diamonds

As a symbol of opulence and reverence, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir will feature a magnificent necklace embedded with 5000 diamonds. The intricate design and craftsmanship of this piece of jewelry highlight the cultural heritage and love for art and aesthetics in India. The necklace represents the adornment and splendor of Lord Ram, conveying a sense of grand celebration and devotion for the Lord.

The Ram Darbar

The Ram Darbar, a significant aspect of the temple's architecture, portrays Lord Ram, his consort Sita, his loyal devotee Hanuman, and his brother Lakshman. The beautifully carved statues of these divine beings showcase their grace, serenity, and divinity. The Ram Darbar represents the unity and harmony of the divine family, inspiring devotees and spreading the message of love, righteousness, and devotion.

The construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is an emblematic journey that combines spirituality, devotion, and architectural brilliance. Each element incorporated in the temple holds deep cultural and religious significance, creating a space of awe-inspiring beauty and sanctity. From the towering Agarbatti to the sparkling necklace, these exquisite elements serve as a testament to the rich heritage and devotion of millions of people. The Ayodhya Ram Mandir will not only stand as an iconic structure but also serve as a source of inspiration and spiritual solace for generations to come. Indeed, the temple will forever remain etched in the hearts of devotees as a testament to their unwavering faith and devotion to Lord Ram.
